The worst part of it all is that no one understands.
Perhaps it’s because I don’t let people in, but I’m past letting people in and watching them destroy me from the inside.
It was supposed to be gone, this horrible, horrible emptiness. But really, it’s been there the whole time, creeping up on me, waiting to jump and to take me by surprise.And the thing is, I don’t think I even want to die any more - I just want to curl up under my covers and forget the world ever existed.
